Help victims/survivors of Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault
HB 55 (Rep. Aimee Freeman) would allow written affirmation instead of needing a certified affidavit to ask for a protective order.
HB 159 (Rep. Malinda White): currently there are over 50 piecemeal provisions of law relative to domestic violence and family violence. This law would provide a single, civil definition of domestic abuse.
